The Settings We Press At

Custom, Same Day and Glitter transfers all press the same way: three presses of 10 seconds each at 300°F, with 60 to 80 PSI on an auto or pneumatic press, or medium to firm pressure on a manual press. First press the empty garment to get the moisture out. Then press the transfer. Then give it one more press to seal it.

Polyester and synthetics are the exception: press Custom and Same Day gang sheets at 280°F, still with the same three presses.

Custom and Same Day peel hot. Open the press, count 3 to 5 seconds, and pull the film off in one smooth motion. Glitter peels cold, so let it cool all the way down first. UV DTF needs no press at all: peel it, stick it down, rub it.

No two heat presses read temperature exactly the same, so run one test garment before you commit a full batch. Our inks, film and adhesive powder are all OEKO-TEX certified. Give the print 24 hours before its first wash. The full sequence for each product is on our pressing instructions page.

These are the same settings we use in our own shop in Florida, every working day.

Tested in our shop: November 2025

That test ran at 300°F on cotton and polyester shirts. The 280°F polyester setting is what we run today; it was not part of that test.

Bigger sheets are more cost-efficient per design, which is why most wholesale accounts use gang sheets to fit multiple designs on a single print. We accept PNG files at 300 DPI with a transparent background. Transparent backgrounds are required — they ensure your transfers print clean with no white halo around your design. If you're submitting gang sheets, make sure each design is properly spaced and the file dimensions match your requested sheet size.
