If you're against a same-day deadline, our Same Day DTF Gang Sheets ship the same business day when ordered before 1:00 PM ET.

We pressed it and washed it ourselves. For our wash test, we pre-pressed the empty garment for 10 seconds at 300°F, applied the transfer for 10 seconds at 300°F, removed the film, then covered the design and pressed for 10 seconds at 300°F to seal.

After 50 washes on cotton and polyester, our standard transfer had no cracks, no peeling and no fading. We stopped counting there, so that is how far we tested, not a limit. Industry guides put a well pressed transfer at 50 to 100 washes.

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Then wash inside out in cold water, no bleach and no fabric softener. Standard prints can tumble dry on low. Glitter always air dries. Do that and the print stays soft, bright and stuck to the shirt.

Hot Peel for Fast Production

Custom DTF Gang Sheets use a hot peel finish — wait 5 to 10 seconds after lifting the press, then pull the film off in one motion. If you can't peel right away, the film also releases cleanly once the transfer has cooled, so you're not locked to a tight timing window.

For Custom and Same Day DTF Gang Sheets on polyester and synthetics, use 280°F. Use 60 to 80 PSI on an auto or pneumatic press, or medium to firm pressure on a manual press. Pre-press the empty garment for 10 seconds, apply the transfer for 10 seconds, wait 5 to 10 seconds and peel the film, then cover the design (Teflon sheet for a glossy finish, cotton or linen for a matte finish) and press for 10 seconds to seal. Use 280°F throughout. Test one garment before running a batch; lower heat does not eliminate every risk of dye migration.

When does the 24-hour production clock start?

The 24-hour clock starts the moment your order is confirmed at checkout, Mon–Fri. Orders placed late Friday typically produce the following Monday; weekends and holidays don't count toward the 24-hour window. Delivery time is separate — it depends on the shipping method you pick at checkout.

How do I peel this transfer?

This is a hot peel film. Wait 5 to 10 seconds after lifting the press, then pull the film off in one motion. If you can't peel right away, the film also releases cleanly once the transfer has fully cooled — the window is flexible.

How is this different from Same Day DTF?

Same print quality and same hot peel finish. The difference is production turnaround and price: Custom is 24-hour turnaround at $0.35/inch; Same Day is priority same-business-day production at $0.50/inch (orders confirmed before the 1:00 PM ET cutoff, Mon–Fri).

Are teflon sheets required for consistent DTF results?

What fabrics work with this transfer?

Cotton, polyester, blends, tri-blends, leather, denim, and nylon. Not recommended for coated fabrics, highly elastic materials, rough textures, or sublimated jerseys.

Can I combine multiple designs on one gang sheet?

Yes — that's the whole point of a gang sheet. Upload multiple designs in a single file (or arrange them with our free Kixxl builder) and we print them all on one sheet at the same per-inch rate. Fit as many designs as will nest on the sheet width; the price depends on the sheet length, not on the number of designs.

What file format and resolution do you need?

PNG, PDF, or AI at 300 DPI with a transparent background. Designs should be sized to the intended print size before uploading — we don't scale or redesign files. If a file has low resolution or a missing transparency, our team flags it before production so you can replace it.

How much does a typical order cost — can you show an example?

Custom DTF Gang Sheet starts at $0.35 per inch of length at 24" wide and longer sheets move to a lower rate on their own. Examples: 24" sheet = $8.40, 36" sheet = $12.60, 60" sheet = $21.00, 120" sheet = $39.60, 600" sheet = $186.00. A 36" sheet typically fits around 6 adult-size front prints or many smaller designs — the exact count depends on how you nest them.

Will small text and fine lines print correctly?

DTF prints fine detail well, but the peel method matters. For designs with very thin lines, small text, or delicate elements we recommend letting this Custom DTF transfer cool fully before removing the film. Minimum recommended font size is around 6 pt; lines under ~0.5 mm may fill in or distort.
