UV DTF Stickers for Tumblers, Drinkware, and Hard Surfaces

No. UV DTF transfers bond on contact with the surface — no heat press, no UV curing lamp, no adhesive. The "UV" refers to the production process on our end, not the application process on yours.

No. UV DTF is designed for hard surfaces only: glass and ceramic, metal and stainless steel, hard plastic, and smooth or sealed wood. It does not bond to fabric. For apparel, use our standard DTF Gang Sheets.

Indoor use is what we have tested. Outdoor exposure and direct sun are not tested yet, so we cannot tell you how long it will last outside.

A transparent background, yes. See-through effects, no. For UV DTF we ask for a fully transparent background and fully opaque colors, with no soft shadows, glows or fades to transparent. The white layer on the back needs to be solid, and where it isn't, the transfer can break. Gradients between solid colors work fine.

Avoid fabrics, porous or unfinished materials, rubber, silicone, textured surfaces, paper, cardboard, and oily surfaces. Surface must be clean, smooth, and non-porous for proper adhesion.

We recommend handwash only for UV DTF decorated drinkware. Repeated dishwasher cycles (high heat, harsh detergents, prolonged wet contact) can shorten the life of the adhesive and cause edge lifting. For drinkware sold to end customers, include handwash care instructions.

Yes. Stainless steel is one of the surfaces we have tested, and one of the most common for UV DTF. The steel must be clean, smooth, and free of oils or residue. Powder coated and painted tumblers are not tested yet. UV DTF bonds to the coating, so if the coating comes off, the transfer goes with it. Try one sticker before you decorate a batch.

No. UV DTF bonds on contact with a clean hard surface: no curing time, no heat, no UV lamp needed. The "UV" refers to the production process on our side. On your side, you peel off the backing, position the design, press it down by hand, and peel away the top film. You can handle the item right away, but wait 24 hours before the first wash so the adhesive can finish bonding.

No. Once the sticker touches the surface it starts bonding, and it cannot be repositioned. Line it up before it touches. For curved items like tumblers, line up the edge first and roll the transfer on gradually.

Any length from 12 to 168 inches, one inch at a time, on 22 inch wide film. You choose it with the slider on the order form, and every inch costs the same $0.72: 12 inches is $8.64, 48 inches is $34.56, and 96 inches is $69.12.

It depends on how many fit on your sheet, since you pay by the inch, not per sticker. By our own layout math (straight rows, 0.25 inch between designs), a 12 inch sheet at $8.64 fits about 45 designs of 2 x 2 inches, roughly $0.19 each, or about 10 designs of 4 x 4 inches, roughly $0.86 each. How many fit depends on how the rows line up with the length, so try a few lengths on the slider. Shipping and tax are not included.
